Road Military Police are testing a new breathalyzer that can detect if the driver is drunk without blowing. According to the spokesman of the Road Policing the State of São Paulo Command, Lieutenant Fabian Cristina Pane, “Five test equipment on highways in São Paulo and one of the objectives is to increase the number of inspections, since the approach is faster. The idea is that the device – called passive breathalyzer – goes into operation by the beginning of next year.”
